What you'll do
As the Junior Accountant, you will help to process, account and control accounting documents of the Group companies. This is a full time position.
You will:
Provide accounting records of source documents, data verification, and entry;
Communicate with vendors in case if necessary;
Participate in the preparation of monthly closure reports and reports for Bank of Latvia and annual reports for subsidiary companies of the Group;
Assist to other Accounting colleagues on a daily basis in case if necessary;
Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team.
Your professional skills and background:
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive;
At least 4-6 months experience in accounting;
Good level of written and spoken Latvian and English;
Basic understanding of accounting and taxation;
Computer skills at an advanced user level (MS Office);
Good communication skills, accuracy and ability to work independently;
Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
