Looking for an individual with experience in accounting that can successfully manage our finances.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a U.S. person.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Willing to commute (position is only in-person).
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax regulations.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure reliable financial reporting.
- Work with external auditors during audits and implement recommendations.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Succeeds at being a team player and working independently.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Navigate Excel.
- Analyze complex financial data.
- Familiarity with accounting software and financial modeling tools.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, or similar.
- Experience with government contracting, sales, and accounting practices.
EXPECTED HOURS/SCHEDULE:
- Full Time: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm.
- Overtime Pay.
