Job Summary
Working directly with clients and supporting the JSE Sponsor team in the execution of tasks related to the JSE Listing requirements across debt and/or equity securities, including engaging directly with clients to understand their requirements across day-to-day continuing obligations and corporate actions as defined by the JSE Listing regulations. Suited to bachelor’s degree in business, Law or related field and/or company secretarial experience may be advantageous with 3 – 5 years’ experience as a JSE Sponsor, in capital markets or in a related field. For Equity Sponsors, individuals should have passed the JSE Equity Sponsor examination and evidencing a strong understanding of JSE regulations and listing requirements through practical experience in supporting clients’ continuing obligations and corporate actions.
Job Description
Leading the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and listing applications related to continuing obligations and corporate actions.
Supporting / managing client relationships and serving as a point of contact for regulatory queries.
Conducting in-depth financial and regulatory analysis and engaging with clients to ensure clients understand and are compliant with JSE requirements.
Coordinating with legal, accounting, and other advisory teams to facilitate transactions.
Reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of documentation and disclosures.
Training and mentoring analysts and junior team members.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Technical Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis as appropriate for the requirements of a JSE Sponsor.
- Ability to support and train analyst-level sponsors.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage complex situations and transactions
Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
