We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer for our Philadelphia office. 

 

What you will do:  

  • Working closely with superintendents and project managers on the day-to-day operations of construction sites. 
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications. 
  • Working with submittals, RFI’s and RFCO’s. 
  • Assisting in contract buyouts. 
  • Working with architects, engineers and subcontractors. 
  • Developing project schedules and phasing plans. 
  • Attending and documenting project meetings. 

 

What you will need to be successful:  

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ in the commercial construction field paired with a degree in Construction Management/Engineering/Architecture or a related field. Will also consider a recent graduate that completed an internship in the construction field.  
  • LEED AP certification is preferred but not required. 
  • Computer Skills Required – Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Skills Required

  • Minimum of two (2) years in the commercial construction field paired with a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Recent graduate with completed internship in the construction field (considered as alternative)
  • LEED AP certification
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Experience working with submittals, RFIs, and RFCOs
  • Experience assisting in contract buyouts
  • Experience developing project schedules and phasing plans
  • Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Ability to attend and document project meetings and work closely with superintendents and project managers
