How we LEAD:
We are seeking a Jr. Software Developer that's knowledgeable in both API development and Frontend development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming. The software developer will work closely with the A&R teams on data strategy and product initiatives.
How you’ll CREATE:
- Design and develop secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Collaborate with A&R team to understand requirements and implement effective strategies.
- Utilize Python3, SQL (PostgreSQL), JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5/CSS3 to build and optimize applications.
- Engage in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Implement and manage database operations, including CRUD functions, to support application needs.
- Contribute to the development and integration of APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems.
- Maintain and enhance existing software solutions, ensuring they meet evolving security standards and expectations.
- Integrate with APIs and external data sources to supplement and enhance core data
Bring your VIBE:
- Knowledgeable in both API development (Node.js, REST, and/or GraphQL) and frontend-development (React, Redux, and/or Apollo)
- Proficient in Python3, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Experience with SQL (MySQL), including designing and managing databases.
- Solid foundation in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, or Go.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices.
- Knowledge of web scraping/crawler technologies, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
- Understanding of security principles and their application in software development and a familiarity with security frameworks like OWASP.
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Proficiency in Git/GitHub for version control.
- Experience with Bash scripting in Linux environments.
- Exposure to cloud services (primarily AWS, and Azure, Google Cloud experience are nice to haves) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes).
- Understanding of data formats (CSV, JSON, Excel) and their manipulation.
