Dow offers a thrilling and challenging role for a Jr. Software Developer - Analyst, in our Digital Innovation Labs team, located in São Paulo (Brazil). This position follows Dow's Design Your Day approach, providing a hybrid work option with both remote and onsite components.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for innovative solutions by staying updated with the latest technology trends and advancements. Agility to quickly respond to new and changing requests.

  • Experiment and prototype new ideas rapidly to evaluate their potential impact and feasibility.

  • Engage in continuous learning and development to master emerging technologies and methodologies.

  • Communicate complex technical ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and progress.

  • Utilize problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges and obstacles, transforming them into opportunities for innovation.

  • Development, both backend and frontend, of cloud-first Web/Mobile/AI/ML/IoT solutions and enterprise software.

  • Collaboration with a development team to deliver timely solutions from our portfolio of applications to our stakeholders. This includes adhering to architecture, development, devops, and security best practices.

  • Commitment to clean, maintainable, modular, and well-documented coding practices, along with a strong understanding of Design thinking principles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3 years of relevant experience

  • Advanced – Fluent English Skills

  • General knowledge of Information technology work process, methodologies, and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree discipline in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.

  • 3 years experience in software solution development leveraging the following:

  • Angular/React

  • .Net/.Net Core

  • Scripting (PowerShell/Bash)

  • Cloud (Azure/AWS Platforms)

  • Modern IDEs (VS/VS-Code/Etc.)

  • DevOps(Azure/Jenkins/Etc.)

  • SQL / No-SQL

  • Modern OO Language (C#/Java/Python/Go)

  • Design Patterns

  • Recent experience in an Agile software development environment leveraging methodologies, work process and toolsets (Azure DevOps) geared towards Scrum.

  • Recent experience designing/coding/deploying within Microsoft's Azure Platform (end-to-end/SDLC).

  • Excellent Leadership & Communication Skills.

  • Exposure to Design Thinking and Human Centered Design.

  • Experience with Azure DevOps/GitHub; Experience deploying code, managing artifacts, release pipelines, branching strategies, and secure code.

  • Experience with Common Azure Cloud Services: Azure App Services, Active Directory, App Insights, SQL, Functions, Containers, Data Factory, Azure ML, API Manager and more.

  • Experience with application testing (Integration/Functional/End-to-end).
