In this fun, fast-paced role, you will be supporting our KB4 Courseware publishing team by assisting with quality assurance for new elearning content as well as ongoing translation and maintenance projects. Duties include auditing content at various stages of the project from course scripts and storyboards to final modules, and assets for the KB4 Learning Management System, the ModStore.
Responsibilities:
- Audit online eLearning modules and provide feedback to courseware staff
- Formulate decisions and provide approvals related to usability in validation process of courses
- Review and edit course scripts, descriptions, storyboards, and other deliverables
- Review graphics deliverables as to quality and adherence to courseware standards
- Assist on writing projects as needed
- Provide feedback in a collaborative way that helps to enhance all of the departments in courseware
- Participate as needed with collaborative projects across publishing teams
- Exercise independent discretion on assigned projects
Requirements:
- B.A. in Portuguese/English, Linguistics, Instructional Design/Education/Organizational Development or Social Sciences
- 1-2 years experience editing and reviewing content
- Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent internal customer service skills and attention to detail
- Experience with web-based project management systems
- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
