Proposal Development
- Analyze RFP/RFQ/RFI documents to identify submission requirements, evaluation criteria, compliance matrices, and key deadlines.
- Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and content calendars in coordination with capture managers and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Write, edit, and format clear, compelling, and compliant proposal responses including technical narratives, executive summaries, past performance write-ups, staffing plans, and pricing narratives.
- Coordinate inputs from SMEs, sales, legal, finance, and delivery teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of proposal content.
- Maintain and update a proposal content library, boilerplate language, resumes, case studies, and past performance references.
- Ensure all submissions meet formatting, page limits, font, and submission requirements specific to government and commercial solicitations.
- Support red team/pink team/gold team reviews and incorporate feedback within tight turn around times.
- Basic graphic design sensibility for improving visual proposal layouts (using Word/InDesign/Canva).
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in proposal writing, bid/proposal research, technical writing, business development support, or a related field.
- Prior exposure to SLED and/or commercial RFP processes in the U.S. market (staffing, IT services, consulting, construction, or similar industries preferred).
- Demonstrated experience researching and tracking government/commercial solicitations using online bid portals, procurement databases, or opportunity-tracking tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar, editing, and proofreading abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with SharePoint or proposal management tools (e.g., Loopio, RFPIO/Responsive) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
