The Junior Project Manager is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of client-facing and internal projects. This entry-level role is suited for candidates with 2–3 years of project coordination or project management experience who are looking to grow their career in a global technology environment.
The role focuses primarily on project execution and coordination, working closely with senior project managers, analysts, technical teams, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with contractual objectives.
The Junior Project Manager reports to the MEAA PMO Director and collaborates with the RAFM Analysts and Technology Business Unit.
The Junior Project Manager is based in Jordan.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support planning, execution, and tracking of client-facing and internal projects.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and task lists.
- Coordinate internal teams and support communication between stakeholders.
- Track project progress and prepare status reports for management.
- Support budget tracking, deliverable reviews, and documentation management.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, current, and properly stored.
- Assist with system deployment coordination, integration activities, and maintenance planning.
- Support issue tracking, troubleshooting coordination, and resolution follow-ups.
- Participate in client meetings and assist with relationship management.
- Support onboarding and coordination of local contractors when required
JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–3 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with common productivity tools (Microsoft Office, SharePoint, project tracking tools).
- Basic understanding of telecommunications or technology environments is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
- Exposure to telecommunications technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, VoIP) is a plus.
- Other language fluency, particularly French, is a plus.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
- Interest in developing a long-term career in project management within the technology sector.
