Job Summary: The Jr. Product Manager plays a key role in ensuring high-quality, efficient product delivery by handling tactical responsibilities and supporting cross-functional coordination across teams. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in product processes who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute across the entire product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining and refining product requirements and user stories.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams during sprint planning and product delivery.
- Maintain and update project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) for backlog grooming and prioritization.
- Analyze user feedback and product usage data to uncover improvement opportunities.
- Support QA and UAT testing phases to ensure product quality.
- Document key product features, release notes, and communications for internal and customer use.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, customer support, and operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related course.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a product-related or cross-functional tech environment.
- Solid understanding of product lifecycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to break down complex issues and identify effective solutions.
- Technical literacy—comfortable discussing basic software architecture and APIs.
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Skilled in backlog and task management using tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
- Strong written communication for documentation and reporting.
- Curiosity, empathy, and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Certifications (Nice to Have): ITIL Foundation; SCRUM certification
