What you'll do:
As a Product Development Engineer, you will be involved in Food Preparation product developments and lead project teams in a cross-functional environment, and be responsible for the execution and the reporting of the respective project in the given time frame, cost target and quality level. If you have an eye for detail, can easily communicate and collaborate with others, and are just looking for a place to exercise all of your project skills, you've just found it! In detail, you will:
- Take charge of new items development for application in products for Latin American markets;
- Contribute to the development of technical solutions in collaboration with global R&D teams, ensuring continuous improvement;
- Create and manage BOM for new products;
- Coordinate and follow up pilot series assembly processes;
- Engage and communicate with project team members and suppliers to ensure alignment and collaboration between all project stakeholders;
- Conduct tear down of other products in order to identify opportunities for optimization, innovation and continuous improvement in general.
As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).
Who you are:
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical or related areas);
- Solid experience with product development projects;
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembling methodologies;
- Knowledge of plastic and metallic materials;
- Knowledge about Bill of Materials and product cost;
- Advanced English.

You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba. One of the focal points for all Latin American Electrolux operations, this plant is the base for over 3000 collaborators, all focused on transforming the way the world lives by shaping lives for the better with their work.
