What you'll do:
- Serve as the primary customer-facing implementation lead from trial start through to go-live.
- Own technical setup, feature activation, integrations, and configuration to ensure merchants launch successfully.
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to maintain context, continuity, and a seamless customer experience throughout the trial.
- Ensure accounts go live with the right features enabled to support their specific business goals.
- Hand over to the Customer Success Manager once implementation is complete, with clear documentation and context.
- Follow established rules of engagement to understand whether Sales or CS owns expansion at each stage.
- Execute implementation plays designed to accelerate time-to-value and position accounts for expansion.
What you'll bring
- Working knowledge of Shopify Liquid, with the ability to understand and work with theme-level customisation.
- Strong awareness of the eCommerce landscape, including apps, integrations, and common merchant tech stacks.
- A data-oriented mindset, using insights to guide decisions and identify opportunities.
- Ability to understand different merchant use cases and translate them into effective product configurations.
- Confidence explaining technical concepts clearly to customers and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working cross-functionally with Sales and Customer Success.
- Hands-on experience in a SaaS or technical environment, with the ability to stay calm and effective during high-pressure troubleshooting.
- Ability to anticipate merchant needs by understanding what’s “under the hood” of their existing setup.
What you'll need
- Working familiarity with Shopify Admin and theme architecture
- Working familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Shopify Liquid-Basic
- JavaScript knowledge for debugging and issue resolution-
- Confidence using Chrome DevTools for frontend troubleshooting
- Understanding of Shopify product data structures and their impact on search and filtering
