We are looking for a Junior Financial Planning & Reporting Specialist to join our FP&A team. Depending on your experience, you'll either grow into the role or take ownership from day one, supporting our management reporting activities and, over time, taking on broader controlling responsibilities.

This is a full-time, individual contributor role based in our Sofia office.

Your Tasks – Paint the World Green

Core responsibilities (all levels):

  • Be part of our HQ Controlling team, supporting the monthly management reporting process with a focus on the technical preparation of reporting output
  • Support the monthly supervisory board reporting process and prepare and quality-check variance analysis files for assigned business reg
  • Pull and reconcile data from our data warehouse and reporting systems, and run consistency checks to ensure reporting outputs are accurate and internally consistent.
  • Work with the Group's financial statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet) and financial KPIs to support the monthly reporting outputs.
  • Support the preparation of board and investor reporting, including our recurring monthly investor submissions.
  • Collaborate with local finance teams and other finance functions to collect commentary and resolve data queries during the monthly close.

With growing experience, you will:

  • Learning the end-to-end monthly close process alongside an experienced team and take greaer ownership of the management reporting process.
  • Contribute to automating and streamlining reporting tasks together with the HQ Controlling team.
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and take ownership of their implementation.

Your Profile – Ready to Hop on Board

  • Bachelor's or masters degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Controlling, Reporting, or Accounting — ideally in a high-growth or international environment.
  • Exposure to month-end close, accounting, or audit is a strong asset.
  • Able to work independently under pressure and be an effective team player.
  • Experience with, or a strong interest in, management reporting, variance analysis, and month-end close
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly for data analysis, reporting, and working with large datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with data and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL, or a data warehouse) and comfort working with ERP and finance systems; able to work confidently with complex datasets.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented, and agile way of working.
  • Good PowerPoint skills, with the ability to prepare and maintain clear, accurate reporting slides (experience with think-cell is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; proactive, reliable, and achievement-focused.
  • Fluent in English; any additional language is a plus.
