Job Summary:The Site Office Technician provides technical and administrative support for daily operations at the solar site office. This role includes maintaining office systems, supporting documentation and communication processes, assisting in coordination with vendors and contractors, and ensuring smooth functioning of site logistics and IT-related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:Assist in preparing and maintaining technical documentation, including drawings, reports, checklists, logs, and site records.
Support engineers and managers in day-to-day operations such as data entry, progress tracking, and scheduling.
Handle troubleshooting of basic office IT equipment (printers, scanners, computers, network issues).
Coordinate with vendors and logistics for material receipt and documentation.
Maintain inventory of office supplies and basic site materials.
Support document control processes – digital and hard copy filing.
Assist in generating daily progress reports (DPRs), manpower logs, and MIS as required.
Ensure proper maintenance of office equipment and infrastructure (e.g., internet, UPS, gensets, etc.).
Provide administrative support during inspections, audits, and site visits.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance procedures at the office level.
Requirements:ITI/Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Computer / Office Management or related field.
1–3 years of experience in a technical/admin support role, preferably at a project site.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication.
Ability to understand basic engineering drawings and site layouts.
Familiarity with office systems like printers, LAN, and general troubleshooting.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to stay and work at remote solar project sites.
Preferred Skills:Experience working at solar/wind/infra project sites.
Exposure to ERP/project management tools is an advantage.
Hindi and local language proficiency for coordination.
Skills Required
