POSITION OVERVIEW:
InterChange Group is seeking a Jr. Business Systems Analyst to help support, implement, and continuously improve the Blue Yonder family of products across our cold and dry storage operations. Working closely with the operations team, you will help keep the WMS configured, maintained, and optimized to meet daily business needs while serving as a hands-on liaison between the warehouse floor and IT. This role is an excellent entry point for a logical, motivated problem-solver who wants to grow into a Blue Yonder WMS specialist within a fast-paced 3PL environment.

Location: Harrisonburg, VA (on-site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional weekends/holidays for project work; participates in after-hours/on-call rotation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations Partnership & Support

Work closely with the operations team to ensure the WMS is properly configured, maintained, and optimized for cold and dry storage operations.

Serve as a day-to-day liaison between warehouse operations and IT, communicating clearly with leadership, functional teams, and external vendors and customers.

Create and manage project and break-fix tickets in the ticketing system, prioritizing by need and urgency and taking appropriate action.

Assist in troubleshooting system issues and resolving data discrepancies.

Participate in an On-call Rotation for afterhours support

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving system configuration, integrations, MOCA/SQL queries, and overall system performance.
Testing, Documentation & Change Management

Assist in and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features, upgrades, and changes.

Adhere to change-management protocols.

Create and maintain documentation and knowledge-base articles.
Systems Knowledge & Growth

Build and maintain working knowledge of business processes and the systemic use of the Blue Yonder family of products.

Develop an understanding of complex systems and integrations.

Envision ways in which business systems can advance organizational goals.

Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years of study in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent work experience.

Strong data analysis and root-cause analysis skills.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office, Android, and common desktop applications.

Flexibility to act quickly and make changes in short timeframes to support operations.

Willingness to work with outside vendors for IT assistance as needed.

An appreciation for the value of IT in a warehouse / distribution environment.

Willingness to work occasional after-hours and weekends.

Openness to occasional travel to remote facilities as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED, NOT REQUIRED):

Experience in third-party logistics (3PL).

Experience with the Blue Yonder family of products (WMS).

Exposure to SQL and/or MOCA commands.

Experience with Microsoft Azure.

Experience with LextEdit or a similar tool.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Work is performed in both office and active warehouse settings, including temperature-controlled environments such as coolers and freezers (which may reach sub-zero temperatures) as well as ambient dry-storage areas.

Required personal protective equipment (PPE) for cold environments is provided; appropriate cold-weather gear must be worn when working in refrigerated and freezer spaces.

Must be able to move about warehouse facilities — including standing and walking for extended periods — and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to adhere to all safety and cybersecurity policies.

Occasional travel may be required < 25%
