Jr. Accountant

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to support general accounting and cost accounting activities for the Latin America and North America regions. This position will support the monthly financial close process, balance sheet account reconciliations, internal control activities, and will work closely with local finance teams across different countries.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly financial close process for entities across Latin America and North America

• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances

• Support general accounting and cost accounting activities

• Perform SOX control activities to ensure compliance with internal control requirements

• Respond to inquiries and requests from local finance teams across different countries

• Assist in maintaining proper accounting documentation and process documentation

Basic Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

• Advanced English level (written and verbal)

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in an international environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to with global cross-functional teams

• System and troubleshooting agility

• Advanced Excel experience and process oriented

• Nice to have: knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Copilot
