We Are Looking For
The Jr. Account Manager is for responsible for all aspects of sales support including but not limited to; contract review, customer and some vender relation management, and working closely with outside sales team including quoting, reports, and product availability. The Jr. Account Manager may be assigned multiple tasks on a daily basis.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Assist in managing day-to-day client relationships and communications, ensuring timely and accurate responses to client inquiries and needs
- Generate and send customer quotes using the company ERP software
- Receive and coordinate daily tasks from the sales department, including customer RFQs and follow-up requests
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of our systems, products, and services
- Support the identification and development of new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to clients, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client developments
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Conduct regular account review to ensure customer satisfaction
- Negotiate prices with customers for potential orders
- Work closely with outside sales team including quoting, reports, and product availability
- Enter customer contracts (PO) in the system and send an acknowledgement
- Perform other duties not assigned
What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):
- Bachelor's degree required with a preferred major in Business or related field
- 3 years of sales experience in the aerospace industry preferred
- 6-12 months of experience effectively developing, managing, and leading a sales team preferred
- An understanding of and working knowledge of aerospace quality management practice
- Knowledge and understanding of aircraft parts and aerospace requirements
- Knowledge of inventory practices and general aerospace requirements regarding same
- Knowledge in OEM, MRO, and general aerospace business environment
- Knowledge of inventory practices and general aerospace requirements regarding the same
- Ability to demonstrate selling skills including negotiating and relationship building with a strong customer focus
- Ability to establish credibility and rapport quickly
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Must be computer savvy and learn company proprietary software programs
- Self-starter that shows initiative in improvements and in helping the company grow
- Ability to plan profitable sales and operational strategies to meet or exceed required goals
- Ability to be detailed oriented and perform in-depth account research, if required
- Maintain clear and accurate data entry, documentation and reporting skills, as required
- Maintain strong competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and intermediate to advanced Word, Power Point and Excel (i.e., spreadsheets, formulas, importing and exporting of files, as applicable) as required
- Familiarity with aerospace industry quality compliance requirements, including AS9120, ASA100
Special Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
- ITAR requirement
- 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
