About the job:
We are looking for an analytical, results-driven person to cover a Manager position in Sky Italia’s CEO Office – Strategy team based in Milan, Italy. The team is responsible for informing and supporting C-level decision-making and plays a critical role in shaping Sky’s strategy across products. The resource will report to a Head of in the CEO Office - Strategy team.
What you will do:
- Provide insightful and creative recommendations to guide Sky through major decisions, supported by robust quantitative analysis, such as:
- Sizing and assessment of the markets that Sky operates in, with in-depth analysis of market trends and competitor activity
- Assessment of the evolving economic value of the products in Sky’s portfolio, with a focus on sport rights
- Profit-and-Loss modelling and financial assessment of new market opportunities
- Design and analysis of market surveys and consumer research
- Work collaboratively with other members of the CEO office, of Group Strategy and wider teams across Sky
- Present to and influence Senior Directors across Sky
- Contribute to fostering an inclusive team culture and participate in the team’s activities
What you will bring:
- Excellent strategic and creative thinking skills, with an ability to simplify and solve complex problems
- Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills, with significant Excel & PowerPoint experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, and relationship-building capabilities with senior stakeholders
- High energy team player who can work collaboratively as well as autonomously
- Lateral and creative thinker, showing flair and imagination in tackling complex tasks using own initiative
- Entrepreneurial and driven for results attitude
- 3-4 years of experience in strategy, finance, data & insights, commercial or consulting environment
- Fluent English
