We are looking for a Master .NET Specialist to lead the development and integration of complex back-end software solutions. In this role, you will work closely with a multicultural team distributed across Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA, collaborating daily in English and setting technical direction for robust, scalable services and integrations.
Must-Have Skills:
- .NET Expertise: extensive experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core in high-volume, production systems.
- Backend Development: advanced hands-on experience designing and building back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
- APIs & Integration: strong background implementing and evolving SOAP and RESTful services, including versioning, security, and best practices.
- Data & Persistence: deep understanding of ADO.NET and SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- XML: proficiency in XML serialization/deserialization for integrations and data exchange.
- Software Design: strong command of software design patterns, clean architecture principles, and engineering best practices.
- Testing & Reliability: experience designing unit and integration tests, troubleshooting complex issues, and performing root-cause analysis to ensure reliability.
- Communication: effective communication skills and resilience in fast-paced, multicultural teams.
- Language: advanced English proficiency (all communication conducted in English).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain complex back-end services in C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
- Implement and evolve SOAP and REST APIs, ensuring consistent standards for versioning, security, performance, and documentation.
- Ensure service reliability through unit and integration testing, proactive troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of production incidents.
- Collaborate on integrations between multiple systems and services, applying appropriate software design patterns and architectural principles.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and applying improvements to existing solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows and best practices to enhance development efficiency, quality, and deployment consistency.
