JLS Marketing Intern

Elsevier Journal Level Sales team is looking for a marketing intern (Mandarin speaking). You will have a great opportunity to help Elsevier promote high-impact journals.
The main objective of Elsevier Journal Level Sales team is to optimize revenues of journal subscriptions. The team is responsible for institutional and personal subscription of Cell Press, The Lancet Group and Elsevier premium society journals.
During your internship you will
- Coordinate with Marketing Managers and regional marketing team to contribute to China marketing plans such as WeChat marketing;
- Assist with different marketing campaigns such as email campaigns, webinars;
- Assist the analysis of campaign performance;
- Assist ad-hoc marketing tasks with Marketing Managers;
- Support the team in different sales enablement activities, including collateral provision (Chinese), copywriting, optimizing automated sequences, etc.
What you should bring
- Be enrolled at a Dutch university as a student (in business/ marketing/ communication studies or similar) for the entire internship duration. This role is not suitable for thesis;
- Non-EU students need to have a student visa and must receive university credits for this internship – this is mandatory;
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in Mandarin and English;
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
- Experience/ interested in marketing. Experience in China market will be a plus;
- Available for 32-36 hours per week, as soon as possible.
