Role OverviewWe are looking for a Scrum Master to drive agile delivery excellence across cross-functional teams. This role will focus on enabling teams to operate efficiently within Jira, improving sprint execution, and ensuring high-quality, predictable delivery.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with global stakeholders across time zones. This role requires exceptional English fluency and strong communication skills, as you will be working closely with teams in the US and UK on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Own and optimize Jira workflows, boards, and reporting to ensure transparency and efficiency
- Partner with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs
- Track sprint progress, identify risks, and proactively remove blockers
- Drive accountability around sprint commitments and delivery timelines
- Establish and monitor key Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and cycle time
- Improve team performance through continuous improvement practices
- Support cross-team coordination and dependency management
- Ensure consistent use of Agile best practices across teams
- Communicate clearly and effectively with global stakeholders, ensuring alignment across regions
- 4–7 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager
- Strong hands-on experience with Jira (board setup, workflows, reporting, dashboards)
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (must be highly fluent)
- Proven ability to work with and influence stakeholders in global teams (US/UK/India)
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience identifying and resolving delivery risks and blockers
- Ability to drive structure and discipline in fast-paced environments
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
- Experience working across multiple time zones
- Exposure to financial services or technology organizations
- Familiarity with Confluence and Jira integrations
- Experience supporting multiple Agile teams
Skills Required
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Jira administration and support
- Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting or consulting firm
- Experience supporting large-scale system implementations
- Strong technical Jira expertise including workflows, dashboards, JQL, and permissions
- Experience with Confluence and Lucid
- Understanding of data governance and control frameworks
- Strong PowerPoint skills for executive communication
