Job Description

Represents the Quality Management of the plant in the product and production development projects, the production and towards the customer during pre-launch, launch and series production

Responsibility to ensure that the product and customer quality requirements are known and executed within the plant

Plant internal function

Escalation towards affected functions in the plant and within AUMOVIO

Right to block production and deliveries towards the customer in case of Quality problems, high or unacceptable Quality Risks

Production quality:

▪ Ensure the production quality requirements are known, considered and executed ▪ Build quality reports Communication: ▪ Quality interface of plant in the project team, e.g. participate in Lessons Learned workshop and structured problem solving ▪ Pro-active feedback into product and process design from serial production Quality indicators: ▪ Define quality targets for product in production ▪ Monitor quality indicators relevant for production Customer interface: ▪ Quality interface to customer Quality planning: ▪ Create PPAP Folder and project PPAP (incl. ICO) ▪ Support preparation of the quality Plan (incl. Safe Launch Plan) in project ▪ Implement Field Failure Analysis Concept with support by QMP ▪ Prepare Requalification plan Quality Documents: ▪ Create Control Plan together with the project team

Customer requirements:

▪ Ensure the customer quality requirements are considered and executed PPAP: ▪ Manage PPAP process for serial release of product for external customer and internal customer Customer Interface: ▪ Communication via customer portals, e.g. PPAP, complaint reports ▪ Customer guidance during visits and audits, customer alignments on quality related topics ▪ Act on Customer performance rating and Customer score card for location ▪ Quality alert and escalation, crisis management (e.g. sorting actions, analysis) Warranty Management: ▪ Analyse customer complaints and warranty returns for relevance and initiate structured problem solving Non Conformance Management: ▪ Ensure structured problem solving method used and executed for customer complaints

Qualifications

Technical degree or technical school or equivalent

Work experience in automotive area or quality management highly recommended (best case min. 2 years) Knowledge in quality management and project management and production management preferred

Internal Quality Management System

External Automotive standards (e.g. IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, product liability)

Quality Methods and internal standards / rules (e.g. DFSS, Structured Problem Solving, Risk Management, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, Control Plan, Change Management, Lessons Learned, Line release process, Nonconformity mangement, Product integrity, product/process audit)

Skills Required

  • Technical degree or technical school or equivalent
