As a Jersey Design Consultant, you will research trends, create designs and technical sketches, and collaborate with various offices on product development while ensuring deadlines are met. You'll also support fittings and assist with collection closure activities.

· Research inspirations, new trends, moodboards (men/woman)

· Research of new fits, washes, techniques

· Design both drawings and technical sketches and follow the programs from design, development to final product

· Support both RTW Style Office and Graphics Office in the developpement of timeless and seasonal programs with a sharp expertise on the category

· Liaise with Graphic studio in the implementation of graphics prints and embroidery placements

· Liaise with the Product Development & Merchandising office to ensure deadlines, targets, collection plans are respected

· Support in fittings

· Support across the collection closure activities (lookbooks and b2b activities)

 

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • 4+ years' experience in a similar role in the fashion luxury industry with a focus specifically on Jersey
  • Degree in Fashion design, a Master's is a plus
  • Good technical knowledge of Jersey and other apparel product categories
  • Excellent free hand drawing skills
  • Excellent use and knowledge of Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep to strict deadlines
  • Good level of English and Italian, both written and spoken
