ERP is looking for a full-time JDE Software Developer/Programmer with experience in the Oracle JDE ERP environment. This position will design, develop, and maintain new or enhanced applications or systems in accordance with best practices and standards. Troubleshoot and resolve reported applications/system issues. Develop reports and report delivery mechanisms.
Location:
This is a remote position. Although the position is fully remote, there may be occasional travel required based on job needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops applications for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne using the JDE E1 development toolset.
- Collaborates with JDE EnterpriseOne functional consultants and development teams to design, develop, and deliver integrated solutions that are scalable, adaptable, and sustainable in accordance with established standards.
- Develops, tests, implements, and maintains applications, reports, and integration processes in 3rd party JD Edwards EnterpriseOne systems as needed.
- Analyzes and resolves technical and application problems in a timely manner.
- Keeps up to date with the latest JD Edwards EnterpriseOne technologies.
- Provides technical support for all service tickets created for assigned systems. Assist, train, and coordinate with other technical staff as needed.
- Provides high-level analysis and estimates for new project requests.
- Assists with process reviews and provides suggestions for improvement.
- Maintains technical documentation and assists with the development of functional specifications.
- Reports status regularly to department management and interacts with business leaders.
- Performs application development with minimal guidance and direction.
- Assists with configuring JDE to fit current and future business practices.
- Write complex reports using the JDE toolkit and BI Publisher or other tools as needed.
- Performs Unit testing to ensure applications and processes work as expected.
- Provides maintenance and support of ERP applications and systems
- Develops client relationships that foster a better understanding of the business needs.
- Coaches and is a liaison to junior associates.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years’ experience with Oracle JD Edwards E1 development toolset that includes:
- Experience in orchestrations - knowledgeable in the latest developments.
- RDA Development (Group, columnar & Financial reports)
- FDA Development ( All types of forms, including powder forms)
- TDA Development ( Should know how to debug table triggers)
- Data dictionary elements: Should know in detail, how a dd is created.
- Business Functions: Should be able to create new 'C' and NER business functions, and to debug all types of business functions.
- Retrofit experience from older JDE versions to new JDE versions, retrofitted applications, batch reports, tables specifications, business views, and business functions.
- BI publisher - This is a must-have skill - designing invoices in pdf or Excel.
- Experience in Groovy scripting - skilled with the Groovy language.
- Experience in REST API's. Either in BSSV or Orchestrations. Should understand the Payload definition.
- Experience in JDE architecture. that includes enterprise server, deployment server, and how fat client development works.
- Should know where to look for errors. (In 4 jade log files).
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills are required
PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Develop integrations with robotics and/or production equipment preferred.
- Develop mobile applications for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne preferred.
- Prefer someone who has graduated with AS/400 but is working in the latest technology.
- Knowledge of Java, SQL, and SQL Plus is a plus.
- Knowledge of RFSmart Scanning solution and integration a plus.
