Job Title: Senior Finance Consultant JD Edwards ERP  

Experience:7+ years in JDE Worldsoft A7.3 Finance modules 

Job Description: 
We are seeking an experienced JDE ERP Finance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all JDE ERP Finance sub modules with strong knowledge on one or more ERP Finance functional modules and a strong background in application development, deployment and production support processes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding and experience with JDE Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Job Costing & Expense Management). 

  • Application Support: Leading Production support for JDE ERP Finance modules. Identifying and resolving complex issues while providing support to end users on JDE applications. Provide support for third-party interfaces and ensure data integrity.  

  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to JDE Finance modules. Identify root causes of problems and implement effective solutions.  

  • User support: Providing technical support to end users on JDE applications, addressing queries and resolving issues.   

  • Training: Developing and delivering training materials and sessions for end-users on JDE Finance modules.  

  • Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a knowledge base for easy access to information.  

  • Collaboration: Collaborating with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth application management 

  • Data Analysis: Develop simple to medium complexity SQL scripts to extract ERP data for analysis.  

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in application performance, processes, and user experience. Participate in the development and implementation of new enhancements.  

  • Business Requirements Analysis: Understanding client's business processes and identifying areas for improvement using JDE Finance modules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements. 

  • Solution Design: Designing and configuring JDE Finance solutions to meet specific business needs.  

  • Module Configuration: Configuring and customizing JDE Finance modules.  

  • Implementation: Leading implementation of JDE Finance modules.  

  • Data Migration: Develop Source to Target ERP mapping from or to JDE Finance modules. 

  • Mentoring: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology (or) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related degree. 

  • 7+ years of experience working with JDE ERP Finance modules.  

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles 

  • Strong understanding of modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Job Costing & Expense Management. 

  • Proficient in Business requirement analysis, Gap identification, Solution proposals and Design development 

  • Understanding of JDE functional architecture. 

  • Understanding of other JDE modules (Order Management, Procurement etc). 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with functional teams and business users. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification on JDE Financial Management (preference to JDE Worldsoft version). 

  • Experienced with SDLC/Agile methodologies and project management tools.
