Job Description
The JavaScript Developer will be responsible for configuring ServiceNow modules according to requirements and deploying them into the production environment. This role also involves designing, developing, and implementing new applications on the ServiceNow platform. How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent experience required.
What will you do?
- Assist with the development and customization of ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Support the configuration and maintenance of ServiceNow instances, including crafting forms, workflows, and business rules.
- Capture and analyze business requirements and document technical solutions.
- Research and recommend new functionalities to improve customer value.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and contribute to solution delivery.
- Participate in fixing and solving issues related to ServiceNow applications.
- Document processes, configurations, and technical specifications as needed.
- Engage in code reviews and testing to ensure quality and consistency with standard methodologies.
- Learn about ITIL and ServiceNow standard methodologies.
Experience:
- Basic experience with ServiceNow development tools and functionalities.
- Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS) and relational databases.
- Must have experience with JavaScript, JQuery other scripting languages is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in English (B2 level) with strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to change and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Hardworking, collaborative, and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles is a plus.
