Java Software Engineer

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

We are looking for IT Fresh Graduates to join our team as Junior Java Software Engineer. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise-grade applications that enable critical insurance and financial business processes.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications and backend services.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and testable Java code following established coding standards and best practices.

• Develop and execute unit tests and support automated testing initiatives to ensure application quality and reliability.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design sessions.

• Support system integrations, API development, and enhancements across enterprise applications.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including application optimization, automation, and modernization efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong experience in Java development and object-oriented programming concepts.

• Exposure with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development and integration.

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and Agile development environment.

• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills
