As a Senior Software Engineer at CI&T, you will serve as a technical leader and mentor within cross-functional project teams, taking ownership of complex software solutions and technical decisions. You will design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise applications, including mission-critical legacy systems, while mentoring engineers and promoting engineering excellence.
You will contribute to technical strategy, lead critical software initiatives, support production environments, and collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

- Java – Strong experience with Java 8+ and enterprise application development

- Background in the automotive industry or Dealer Management Systems (DMS)

Skills Required
- 5-7 years experience in Java enterprise development (Java 8+)
- Experience with J2EE technologies such as Servlets and JSP
- Strong expertise in MySQL, including query optimization, stored procedures, and large-scale databases (100M+ records)
- Proficiency in web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MVC architecture
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices, Git, Maven, and managing production environments
- Solid understanding of AWS services (S3, RDS, ECS)
- Experience with web services (SOAP and REST) and data integration patterns (ETL, SFTP)
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to document solutions
