This role will support a client's Solutions Business Management (SBM) program. We’re looking for a dynamic software developer with Java-rich client and web application development experience and strong core Java knowledge. You will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and modifying enterprise-wide systems and application software. This is a client with an important mission in support of the U.S. Navy. You Have:
6+ years of experience in software engineering or software development
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript for responsive web interfaces, object-oriented principles and design patterns, and Java for backend development, including Spring MVC
Experience using Git for version control and with software configuration management tools and processes to ensure code integrity
Experience with Microsoft ADO for project management, continuous integration, and deployment strategies
Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, T-SQL, or SQL Server and tools such as TOAD for database management
Experience with Agile methodologies and Waterfall
Knowledge of object-oriented principles and design patterns in practical software development
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT
DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE, or SSCP Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience in Java, including Spring Boot or Hibernate, and .NET, including C#, .NET Core, or ASP.NET MVC
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and service-oriented design
Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with containerization, including Docker or Kubernetes, and orchestration tools

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
