Java Software Engineer - Knowledge Base (Serbia)

Azul continues to grow and we are actively interviewing Java Software Engineers to work with us on developing Azul Intelligence Cloud.

This SaaS product connects millions of JVM runtimes, collects and aggregates detailed information from them, analyzes code use, detects vulnerabilities and provides code inventory.

What you'll do

• As a member of our strong Knowledge Base team, you will be delivering our SaaS solution together with the Backend, QA, DevOps Engineers and Application Developers.
• Your primary role will be to develop and implement new features in Java and Kotlin but you will also fix bugs and perform code review.
• Your insights to the cloud architecture is an essential part of this assignment.
• We expect you to lead professional discussion about the architecture and technological future of our product and its newly designed functionalities. Working as a team is important for us and your opinion matters!

We are looking for a person who

• Is an Engineer at heart - highly technical, with solid skills in writing algorithms, software design and architecture.
• Is experienced with modern cloud and data technologies, microservice architectures, and serverless and/or container-based architectures.
• Has 5+ years of working experience and 3+ years in Java development. Kotlin is a plus, Python is nice to have.
• Has experience with data pipelines and data mining
• Familiarity with the world of Java vulnerabilities is a plus
• Has positive energy and enjoys communication with others.
• Holds BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field or equivalent experience.
