Project overview : Seeks an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and test RESTful APIs using Java and TestNG. You will join our innovative team to build scalable, efficient, and reliable software solutions
*Responsibilities:*
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java (JAX-RS, Spring Boot)
- Implement API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Write unit tests and integration tests using TestNG
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
*Requirements:*
Mandatory
- 4-7 years of experience in Java development
- Strong understanding of Java, OOP concepts, and design patterns
- Proficient in RESTful API development (JAX-RS, Spring Boot)
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks
- Familiarity with API security standards (OAuth, JWT)
- Knowledge of database management systems (RDBMS, NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*Preferred:*
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver for automation testing
- Familiarity with JMeter for performance testing
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
- Experience with containerization (Docker)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Certification in Java or related technologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
