About Keonn
Keonn is a manufacturer of RFID hardware and software products for different sectors, like retail, healthcare, libraries, industry and logistics among others. We provide RFID systems mainly for the retail and healthcare sectors, as well as RFID UHF components for any industry. Keonn's team is comprised of experienced engineers and PhDs with deep knowledge in fields like radiofrequency, antennas, electronics, robotics, firmware, and cloud-based software. Summary
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to develop applications for Keonn product portfolio that power all our high-end RFID readers and derived systems. In this role, you will be developing Java applications to enhance, debug, and optimize our current infrastructure while implementing new features to meet evolving market demands.
Your Tasks
- Develop and maintain Java applications for IoT devices
- Implement new features and functionality for RFID reader systems
- Lead the Java development team
- Debug and resolve software issues in embedded environments
- Optimize code performance and memory usage
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Support testing and validation of firmware releases
We Expect
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in embedded systems
- Strong understanding of embedded Java programming
- Experience with real-time systems and multi-threading
- Knowledge of network programming and communication protocols is a plus
- Familiarity with RFID technology and RF systems is a plus
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Fluent in English, Spanish is a big advantage
- You are a resident of the EU or are in possession of an EU working permit
