We currently have a vacancy for an Java Enterprise Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either on the company’s premises or on site at the customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated into the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Tasks:
- Create designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture, servers and databases for functionality and business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals;
- Design responsive applications, develop APIs, architecture components and building blocks using cloud components;
- Review the architecture of existing systems to migrate in the cloud, evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities and implement core business logic;
- Understand and implement security and data protection, oversaw cross-platform optimization, compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement;
- Participate in the design and creation of scalable software, conduct research to find ways to improve operations and maintain the code of integrity and organization;
- Write clean, functional code for the back end and possibly front-end applications and technical documentation;
- Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 12 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Experience with Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Java EE and Hibernate;
- Experience with Oracle Service Bus and OpenID Connect integration;
- Experience with SSO and cloud development with Amazon web services;
- Experience with Kafka, JMS and Oracle DB;
- Experience with REST and SOAP services;
- Experience with tools for web services testing (SOAPUI, ReadyAPI, Postman);
- Experience with blockchain technology, EC identity and access management tools (Secunda and IOP IAM);
- Knowledge of API GW configuration with OAuth 2, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Apache;
- Knowledge of SSL/TLS Protocol configuration in application servers and on reverse proxy configuration;
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and development, building and deployment of micro services;
- Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus, event architecture);
- Advanced knowledge of the Procurement and Grant Management business domain;
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, and actual experience developing and building models based on such framework;
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN and enterprise architecture tools such as ARIS;
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as ActiveMQ;
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git and Continuous Integration & Deployment suites such as Bamboo;
- Knowledge of Java application server WebLogic covering configuring domains, deploying and running applications on these servers;
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker);
- Excellent command of the English language.
