Position Overview:
The Agile Dev Team Member IV - Java at Capgemini plays a vital role in developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment. You will engage with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance applications while adhering to best practices in software development.
In this position, you will leverage your Java programming skills to conduct technical feasibility studies, translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring that the end products are architecturally sound. You will contribute significantly to the coding standards and practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust and scalable Java applications.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in production and non-production environments.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
- Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and framework trends, advocating for their adoption where beneficial.

Requirements
Work Experience in This Field:
- Minimum Required: 6-8 years
- Preferred: 8-10 years
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Key Skills:
Advanced Skills (7+ Years):
- Strong expertise in Java, including frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services
- Microservice Architecture
Intermediate Skills (4-6 Years):
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with development tools such as GitHub, AWS.
Certifications:
- Java Certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus.
