To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Java Developer located in Tczew, Poland.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Solutions Development, the Java Developer role involves support Flex's Supply Chain Solutions team in the software development projects to create complex supply chain management web applications which contribute to Flex's business processes and support business teams. The team is fully responsible for design, architecture, implementation, and support of these systems and always open for new ideas and technologies to use in our software development process.

What a typical day looks like:

• You will have an opportunity to participate in different software development activities depending on your skills and further interest – work on logic and functionality for system backend, design and build frontend to improve user experience, use different database types, explore, and apply new technologies
• You will follow agile methodology and use Scrum/Kanban in our projects

What you will bring to our team:

• 3+ years of experience in Java and Spring
• Industry best practices, including design patterns and principles, to ensure maintainable and efficient codebases
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend development and RESTFul APIs
• Proficiency with Junit, Mockito
• Working experience with modern development tools and processes (Git, CI/CD, Maven)
• Good communication skills in English
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
• A collaborative mindset and experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to find smart, pragmatic solutions in complex environments
• Curiosity and motivation to learn new technologies and explore modern development patterns
