Job Description

Our customer is an Electric Vehicle (EV) Infrastructure company, developing their next generation of AC and DC vehicle charging solutions. Together we’re on a mission to create a more reliable and emission-free mobility infrastructure. The AC wallbox and DC fast-charging product portfolio you will be supporting include legacy and next generation solutions covering multiple market segments, including residential, public, and industrial. 

As a result, we are looking for Java Developer to join our team. 

Your responsibilities may include but will not be limited to:

• Develop, implement, Test and debug application software primarily using Java technologies
• Participate and contribute in software and architectural development activities

While being on the project you may be asked to participate in team planning meetings in Warsaw or Zabierzów office that take place every couple of months.

Qualifications

Must Have:

• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent skill level
• You have at least 2 years of professional experience with Java projects
• You are skilled in working with Linux and Git
• You follow a high standard for software quality e.g. SOLID principles and design patterns
• You are equipped and familiar with TDD and BDD skills
• Having knowledge of Java features and best practices for concurrent programming
• Having experience with working with resource-constrained- or embedded systems is preferred
• You can work in multi-disciplinary, Agile teams
• You have good analytical and engineering skills
• Good communication skills (written & verbal) in English

Nice to have:

• Having knowledge of Cybersecurity in an embedded setting is a plus
• Robot framework experience as a plus (e.g. for the creation of Component tests)
• Experience in working with gradle
