Java Developer (Playwright Automation and Cloud Deployment)

Software Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java programming language
• Experience using Playwright for end-to-end testing of web applications
• Familiarity with Gradle build tool for project management and dependency resolution
• Proficient in Docker for creating and managing containerized applications
• Knowledge of deploying applications on cloud platforms, specifically with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Overall Responsibilities:

• Automated Testing:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web application testing
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues in automated tests, providing timely resolutions to ensure quality software delivery

• Development and Integration:

  • Utilize Java and Gradle for building applications and managing dependencies within the project
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline

• Containerization and Cloud Deployment:

  • Implement and manage Docker containers to ensure consistent development, testing, and deployment environments
  • Deploy applications in cloud environments, particularly using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for orchestration and scaling

Technical Skills:

Java Development:

• Strong proficiency in Java programming language for developing test scripts and automation frameworks

Playwright Automation:

• Experience using Playwright for end-to-end testing of web applications, focusing on cross-browser compatibility and performance

Gradle:

• Familiarity with Gradle build tool for project management, dependency resolution, and script automation

Dockerization:

• Proficient in Docker for creating and managing containerized applications

Cloud Deployment:

• Knowledge of deploying applications on cloud platforms, specifically with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps for building and deploying applications
• Understanding of microservices architecture and experience with container orchestration
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for cloud applications

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in software development and automation testing using Java and Playwright
• Experience in using version control systems such as Git

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web application testing
• Utilize Java and Gradle for building applications and managing dependencies within the project
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
