Trade Finance and Lending
Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) is core and one of leading business departments in Corporate Bank working with clients around the globe. It has great dependency on IT platform to service the Bank’s clients. The group is working on technology refresh of their IT platform to enable new services for customers as well as to achieve next level of business processes automation. In-house technology team already achieved great success designing, building and rolling out into production its strategic platform for TF&L business. Based on that success there is a further desire to build towards our strategic architecture.
As a Java Developer (f/m/x) you will work on a new strategic system for collateral management and risk management as well as participate in other complex services forming TF&L target state platform. The system includes Java backends, messaging, APIs, databases and modern Web-based UIs.
You will be part of the Berlin team and you will collaborate with the respective business departments as well as local and remote developers/BAs/PMs from partnering teams around the globe. You will contribute into all stages of agile delivery pipeline: specification, design, estimation, implementation, automated testing and level 3 production support. Focus will be on delivery of reliable and high-performance backend services.
Your key responsibilities
Design and develop new functionality – ideally be capable to do Full Stack development including backends and UIs
Work with FAs and business partners on functional and non-functional requirements
Coding and automated testing
Review other team member’s changes
Collaborate with QA engineers on test automation of new and existing functionality
Level 3 Support
Your skills and experiences
Good knowledge of Core Java industry experience
Experience with modern Web UI technologies is a plus
Good user-level knowledge of Linux
Good knowledge of modern SDLC toolstack – bitbucket, Jira, Artifactor, Jenkins/TeamCity, etc.
Fluent English verbal and written
