Job Description
We are looking for talented Java developers to help develop, support, and enhance the applications used by our EDI team. We're looking for people who has vast Java knowledge. The ideal candidate would be able to learn how to visualize our entire system, see how the pieces interact, understand how the data flows, and anticipate how changing one piece might impact the whole.
The developer is a key role on a collaborative project team, which is responsible for the design and production of our core business systems. These systems satisfy customer and organizational business requirements and provide solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. The developer understands business problems and opportunities and applies technical skills in the design, development, and testing of data.
Qualifications
- EXPERIENCE: 5 to 13 years
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Object-oriented programming and component-based development with Java
- Good Knowledge in Spring Boot
- Proven troubleshooting skills
- Solid SQL skills
- Familiarity with Maven, CVS, SVN, Git and automated build/deployment tools
- Customer service-oriented attitude and top-notch time management
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- webMethods development experience and an understanding of EDI data flows
- Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS or other transfer protocols
- Experience with Angular or React
- Experience with Kafka or JMS
- Familiarity with Web Services, SOAP or REST calls
- Experience with Jenkins or Chef
