About The Department
UOB Innovation Hub 2 (InnoHub2) is a UOB-wholly owned subsidiary and a Centre of Excellence based in Malaysia, providing Group Business Services (GBS) to support the UOB Group. Started in 2021 with technology application design, development and support, InnoHub2 is expanding beyond technology services to deliver other business services to support the Bank’s growth ambition. We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to be part of the pioneer team spearheading the development and delivery of the new services.

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting software development projects in the external API and payments domain.
Work with a team of subject matter experts, architects and software developers to provide perform development and development support tasks which include writing code, supporting testing and deployment.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in computer science/engineering
Minimum 1 -3 years of experience supporting application development and production support in a banking environment (UOB preferred) with multiple technologies.
Basic Linux & Scripting, Network (must have - Navigation, Shell scripting, Health check, Checking connectivity)
Hands on experience with developing Java Springboot.
Other programming languages (Nice to have – PHP, Python, Javascript)
Banking or financial industry experience (Nice to have)
Track record of working with teams to resolve issues encountered for tasks and applying skills learned on the
job to succeed in new assignments.
