About the role:-
We are looking for a Java Backend Engineer to design and build reliable backend services for our data-intensive and revenue-related systems. You will own backend modules end to end — from requirement analysis through design, implementation, and production support — while collaborating with a cross-functional team on code reviews and design discussions. You should be comfortable working independently on a small, focused engineering team and enjoy taking initiative on problems that span architecture decisions and day-to-day implementation.
Required skills:-
- 3–5 years of professional Java backend development
- Strong grasp of OOP, data structures, and algorithmic thinking
- Hands-on experience designing RESTful Web Services with JAX-RS (Jersey preferred)
- Experience with MongoDB or a comparable NoSQL database
- Familiarity with Design Patterns and SOLID principles Comfortable with the full SDLC — from design docs to deployment
- Git-based workflows — branching, code reviews, PRs
- Linux comfort and basic shell scripting
- Clear written and verbal communication in English
Good to have:-
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud services
- Exposure to Python or Go
- Prior work on data analytics or revenue/invoicing systems
- Ability to translate requirements into clean, maintainable module designs
- Knowledge of concurrent programming
