Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Mandatory Skills: Resource needs to have worked on at least 2 of the 4 skills (Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, SolrCloud, Cassandra DB)
Job Description:
Minimum 7 years of IT experience, with Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Java Developer in Development Projects.
Resource to have primary skills as Spring Boot, Micro services, Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, SolrCloud, Cassandra DB and Secondary Skills as Jenkins , Docker , Kubernetes.
Working knowledge and experience on web applications using Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot frameworks, Hibernate, SOAP/REST APIs and CI/CD jenkin pipelines
Hands on Experience in Debugging the production issues and customer defects.
Strong programming skills, as well as the ability to read, analyze and code review the complex codebases written by others.
Experience in object-oriented programming & concepts, and MVC design patterns.
Experience in writing SQL queries and knowledge in handling RDBM systems like SQL Server, Oracle, and HANA.
Task assignment, Ensure SLA compliance, Individual contributor, Automation, Conduct Quality Checks.
Experience in using tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual studio, Postman, GitHub, and other tools.
Experience in Agile environment, handling Test/QA/Production environments and checking production logs.
Defect management tools like JIRA, Communication & collaboration management thru confluence/slack/teams are favorable.
Highly motivated individual with good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment.
Skills Required
- Minimum 7 years IT experience with minimum 5 years as Java developer
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
- Worked on at least 2 of: Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, SolrCloud, Cassandra DB
- Experience with Spring MVC and Hibernate
- Experience building and consuming SOAP/REST APIs
- Experience with CI/CD and Jenkins pipelines
- Hands-on debugging of production issues and defect resolution
- Strong programming skills, code analysis and code review experience
- Knowledge of OOP concepts and MVC design patterns
- Ability to write SQL and familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle, HANA
- Experience working in Agile environments and handling Test/QA/Production environments
- Experience using tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio, Postman, GitHub
- Experience with defect management and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Teams)
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to changing environments
