Job Summary:**
Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable enterprise applications. This role will contribute to various stages of the software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of robust and efficient solutions.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications, services, and components.
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define specifications, and implement technical solutions.
* Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure code quality.
* Debug and resolve technical issues, troubleshoot application problems, and provide ongoing support.
* Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
* Contribute to technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and user guides.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging Java technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of Java SE/EE.
* Proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
* Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
* Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
* Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
* Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
* Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
