Job Purpose:
To implement winning business development strategies and enablers to achieve preset financial targets; to sustain productivity standards, market focus and share objectives; and to reach customer satisfaction and loyalty objectives for particular traffic segments i.e. Japan
Key Accountabilities:
- To provide sales support to achieve revenue targets and productivity standards.
- To perform quantitative and qualitative traffic analysis covering market trends, market characteristics, trade statistics and competitor activities.
- To implement customer segmentation strategies to identify respective customer characteristics and requirements, and to create Unique Value Propositions (UVPs).
- To proactively identify seasonal opportunities for business development.
- To devise effective and industry focused Lead Generation Programs.
- To drive program implementation across the sales organization through active involvement in joint sales activities.
- To closely work with operations and carriers to implement market attack strategies.
- To benchmark business performance with other Expeditors branches and competitors.
- To maintain an active prospect bank for continuous business growth.
- To travel overseas and solicit strategic sales activities.
- To create customer success stories and case studies to complement successful sales presentations.
- To take up additional assignments as required to meet with the Company needs.
Qualifications
- University Graduate or above in Business Administration or related fields
- Minimum 5 years’ proven account management experience in global logistics with high customer focus, action-oriented
- Excellent communication & presentation skills to look for the best practice solution through negotiation.
- Well-versed with the latest information technologies.
- Native speaker Japanese Language.
