In support of the HMI Sales and Business Development, the Head of HMI Japan Sales and Field Apps develops the engagement, business positioning strategy, manages the alignment of customer relationship and technical requirements for all HMI products.
Job Description
Business management: Responsible and accountable for overall sales, business development and field operations for HMI
Business management: Booking, shipment, and revenue for existing business and potential opportunities of Micron NA Account tools, service, spares business. And developing long-term business plan for customers in this region as well.
New Product/Technology penetration: Lead account team, set right strategy, collaborate with product/RD team to position our latest inspection tool and/or technology into customers.
Account Management: Customer satisfaction, Operations management-including Service, Apps, Account Technical program, logistics. Team management, recruit, growth, retain, and coach the whole account team.
Regional management including managing financial result, HR, Logistics, Profit/Loss, employee affairs, balancing the local need and corporate policy of above.
Build and sustain a strong team of sales, service, apps, regional marketing, and coach them via training, coaching, management, and incentive program in order to accommodate customer need, to meet company goal, and to achieve personal goal.
Education
- MSc or PhD in Engineering or Physical Science; MBA desirable
Experience
- Extensive industry experience >8 yrs with marketing or commercial experience (semiconductor processing)
- Recognized industry professional with broad understanding
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant work related experience in Metrology, Defect or Yield enhancement tools and applications.
- Experience in defining market needs based on deep understanding of customers, applications and products

Context of the position
The end responsibility is revenue and margin achievement against the set target & also securing healthy business pipeline. Responsible for whole product portfolio HMI products.
Other information
Expect a dynamic and enthusiastic working environment, where flexibility, drive and initiatives are highly valued. The business is stretch across varying continent and timezones. There will be travel required (~60%) as needed to support your global team. This Head of HMI Japan Sales and Field Apps to the Head of Sales HMI.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
