Next Generation Management & Accounting Services is a professional property management company specializing in condominium and homeowners association (HOA) management throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Janitorial Staff member to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of one of our managed communities in Margate, FL.

This position is responsible for ensuring that common areas remain clean, safe, and well-maintained while providing excellent service to residents, board members, and visitors. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining high community standards.

Position Details
  • Position: Part-Time Janitorial Staff
  • Location: Margate, FL
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Hours: 16 hours per week
Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, restrooms, laundry rooms, clubhouses, fitness centers, recreational areas, and trash rooms.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors, windows, doors, furniture, and other common area surfaces.
  • Collect and properly dispose of trash and recycling in accordance with community guidelines.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of exterior common areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, breezeways, entryways, and other outdoor spaces by removing litter, debris, and fallen palm fronds.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the Property Manager.
  • Document maintenance or safety concerns by taking photographs when requested and communicating findings promptly.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely while following all company safety procedures.
  • Maintain a professional appearance by wearing the required company uniform.
  • Provide courteous and professional service to residents, board members, vendors, and fellow team members.
QualificationsEducation
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
  • Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or general maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
Skills
  • Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean, attractive communities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment.

Skills Required
