Sunday-Wednesday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM

Base Rate $19.50 + $3.00/Hour Shift Differential

What You’ll Be Doing as a Janitorial Specialist:

Primarily responsible for the daily cleaning of designated areas in the facility.

  • Performs cleaning and light housekeeping including production areas, office areas, hallways, stairwells, restrooms, reception area, and lunchroom
  • Replenishes supplies as necessary
  • Monitors condition of the facility
  • Identifies repair needs
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Follows all safety and/or cleaning room protocols, wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experiences You’ll Need as a Janitorial Specialist:

  • HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed written and verbal instruction.
  • Physical agility with ability to work primarily on foot.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with leader and coworkers.
  • Desire to learn new things and share great ideas.
  • Great work ethic, solution-oriented attitude and positive energy geared toward continuous improvement

Work Environment for a Janitorial Specialist:

Work takes place in a manufacturing environment with occasional outdoor work and with exposure to noise and chemicals. Ability to use PPE. Ability to stand or sit for long periods; Good visual acuity, and ability to use full range of motion. Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds with assistance. Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to climb and work at high elevations.
