In this role, you will provide technical environmental, health, and safety support to the Operations team. 

 

What You’ll Bring 

Experience and Qualifications 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Engineering, Manufacturing, Environmental, or a related technical discipline. 
  • You bring 3-5 years of previous HSE experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • You have strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, NEC, TCEQ, and EPA regulations. 

What You’ll Do 

As an HSE Manager, you’ll lead environmental, health, and safety programs by partnering with operations to drive compliance, reduce risk, strengthen a safety-first culture, and support site-wide HSE initiatives and training. 

 

  • Lead and mentor.  You will lead and mentor the leadership team by providing technical guidance, overseeing HSE activiites, and supporting site safety initiatives.  
  • Drive compliance.  You will be responsible for driving compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and training programs across the facility.  
  • Assess and reduce risk.  You will assess and reduce risk through hazard analyses, risk assessments, machine guarding initiatives, and proactive safety improvements.  
  • Investigate incidents.  You will investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and strengthen workplace safety performance.  
  • Partner.  You’ll partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and OEMs to ensure safe equipment, processes, and continuous improvement of HSE programs.
