IVVQ Engineer (m/f/d) – Systems Integration & Verification

Location: Zurich #LI-HYBRID

Your Mission

Do you want not only to understand complex systems, but also to actively shape their quality? Then this is the right opportunity for you. In this role, you will support demanding development projects from integration through to final verification, ensuring that the highest technical standards are met.

Your Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Test Design

  • Define and optimize appropriate test scopes for different release cycles

  • Plan, maintain, and continuously improve comprehensive test suites aligned with project goals

System Integration & Verification

  • Develop integration trees and detailed integration concepts for complex system landscapes

  • Mature individual software components through unit, module, and program testing

  • Ensure that technical requirements and customer expectations are fully met

Automation & Tooling

  • Develop and operate tools for automated testing and result analysis to support efficient test processes

  • Actively drive the continuous improvement of test automation and toolchains

Platforms & Test Environments

  • Independently set up and operate test environments, including network and server infrastructures

  • Ensure stable automated platforms and perform sanity checks as part of daily operations

Analysis & Documentation

  • Analyze test results in detail and derive well-founded defect analyses

  • Manage and oversee the entire defect lifecycle

  • Create and maintain technical documentation such as Test Management Plans, Software Test Descriptions, and Requirement Verification Matrices

Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a technical interface between internal stakeholders and external partners

  • Confidently present system demonstrations and test results to customers and project stakeholders

  • Support junior colleagues professionally and share your knowledge effectively

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, or a comparable field

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Integration, Verification, Validation & Qualification (IVVQ)

  • Strong practical experience in:

    • Component testing

    • Test automation

    • Validation processes

  • Confident programming skills as well as experience in data analysis and processing

  • Experience configuring test equipment and server-side infrastructures

  • A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style

  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork

  • The ability to mentor and support the professional development of others

  • Fluent in English, and either German or French
