This role acts as the primary bridge between IT and local country management, ensuring the successful implementation of global IT strategies and driving technology adoption at the local level. The individual will also liaise with responsible teams for proper IT service delivery, manage escalations, and ensure alignment with SLAs while articulating local needs to global teams. Regular Tasks:
DELIVERING IT STRATEGY LOCALLY
- Act as the primary representative for implementing global IT strategies and initiatives at the country level.
- Drive adoption of IT projects, tools, and processes, ensuring alignment with local business objectives and minimizing needs for local solutions
- Partner with local management to communicate and operationalize IT roadmaps and strategic priorities.
- Represents ITS in the respective countries management meetings
- Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve local business processes and ensure successful project execution.
- Support legacy local solutions and manage the migration to global capabilities where possible.
- Provides strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives.
- Created transparency of local IT landscape, applications and projects for respective countries in order to achieve regional/global synergies, provides local ITS coverage to ensure that the wider ITS organization understands the country needs
LOCAL SERVICE MANAGEMENT
- Liaise with COEs to ensure high availability, performance, and quality of IT systems locally in EMEA countries
- Channels local demands to the correct Global Business Partner teams
- Serve as the escalation point for local IT service issues and coordinate resolutions with global teams and external vendors.
- Monitor and report on IT service performance, ensuring alignment with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
- Facilitate training and support for local users to maximize the value of IT systems and solutions.
- Implementation or development of local IT solutions wherever required by local law or regulation.
- Provide IT documentation and information required by local law, local regulation or quality policy.
- Ensure that the IS complies with local regulations
- Act as the main IT contact for local authorities on national IT projects concerning FME.
- Act as the main contact for local workers council concerning IT topics
- Provides first level of cybersecurity support for users (vulnerability and phishing check).
LOCAL NEEDS AND FEEDBACK
- Act as the voice of the local country management team, articulating their needs and challenges to global IT leadership/COEs.
- Collect local requirements for IT services, projects, and infrastructure enhancements and liaise with IT Business partners for prioritization & approvals.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure local needs are factored into IT strategy and project planning.
- Provide insights into regional regulations, cultural considerations, and operational requirements that may impact IT initiatives.
- Cooperation with public hospitals in the support of Fresenius IT product sales
- Support for the building of new CD clinics and modernization (IT area)
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Lead and manage a team of IT Partners within the EMEA cluster, ensuring their alignment with global IT and local business objectives.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team performance and individual growth.
- Allocate resources effectively across projects and service needs to ensure optimal delivery.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, encouraging knowledge-sharing and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Vocational training, university degree, PhD, MBA, specialized further education etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
- 7-8 years of experience in IT program/project management, IT Service management, Project/Program management, business partnering or in an equivalent position.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with local management, vendors, and global IT teams.
